The NUOVA PATAVIUM Line Up Clamp (LUP) is the most versatile and user friendly machine on the market today and is a crucial support in pipeline welding procedures. Years of experience and the highest quality components are incorporated into every unit to provide the best alignment of the pipe ends before welding the root pass: they guarantee the maximum radial force to align the pipes in a precise and robust way saving time and increasing productivity.
Our LUP is available as either automatic or manual for external use, it come as self-propelled (line travel) or non self-propelled (pull type).
Each system allows for different configurations to fit a wide variety of applications. Each LUP is quickly and easily adjusted for use with a variety of pipe wall thickness.
All NP Line-up Clamps are supplied with all necessary certification and operation documentation including a Use and Maintenance Manual, a Spare Parts book, CE Certification and Test Report.
The Automatic Internal LUP come with the following standard features:
- Filters, lubricators, regulators and valves all rates to 250 psi
- 12 mt of reach and road with control ends

The Purging system is equipped with two purging rings along inflatable seal which are installed at the ends of the expander unit to provide a protected chamber to the welded joints.
The Corrosion-Resistant Alloy (CRA) Kit is used in order to avoid contamination of the pipes. The stainless steel or other corrosion-resistant materials are used in all parts which is in contact with the pipe such as expander shoes, wheels, protections.
